Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!! I wish my family all the best for Christmas. Christmas is about having fun and sharing love to each other.
This year I am going to Tonga to go see my dad
since I have not seen my dad for a very long time.

Bike riding

Safety first - Bigfoot Adventure people came to teach us about safe cycling. Johnny taught us the bike parts and what you need to check before you ride.
Before you get on your bike, check that that seat is up to your hips, the brakes are working and the that the quick release catch is on.
It was a great opportunity to learn about riding safely.

Kayaking

Yesterday I went to learn how to kayak. It was a bit hard and a bit easy.This is my friend, Tame'e, and I lying on the sand.  After that we all went for a swim.

Cinquian Poem

All Blacks cheering, yelling, crying,screaming,angry,Football Yahoo!!

Ice-cream ,yummy,nice,delicious, chocolate,strawberry,lime I love ice-cream, creamy threat!!

9% Divisions.

Maths!! It's great doing maths. You can learn doing your
9,8,7,6 divisions. First I didn't believe in myself but now I do because I got 95% on 9 division.Thats why
I am proud of myself because I had 27 seconds and 95%. I am very glad that I didn't go past 33 seconds when I did my 9 division. But next time I will just try to get 100% percent.

Floods in South Island!!!

Whoosh!!There was a flood in the South
Island.The power lines fell down and some people
got electrocuted.The level was very high it was
6.8.Their houses were crashed from the
flood.

My best friend

This is my best friend edwina and me.I meet her in 2008. She was 7 and I was 8.And we have been friends for 3 years.Edwina is a great friend she is a really cool friend.

Math Magician -9

Yaaho!! Today I was on Maths Magician and I have 95% on my Subtraction Facts by 9.I have achieved my goal,but next time I'll try answer it in 3 seconds or less.

Fireworks

Hi my name is Buddy,Buddy the angry sheep.

I’ve been working with the shepherd boy for a week and

two days.All I ever do is just eat my green grass and

sometimes walk which is really tiring.

I’ve got a huge problem with the shepherd boy

who lies everyday!

I am so sick of him lying to other people.

And I am pretty sure I  saw a heap of

wolves on the field.

Wow really scary they look a bit

like they dressed up as ghosts.

!!SCARY!!

The sheep ran into a house and hid in a

closet.The three wolves looked at the

Shepherd boy like they wanted

to eat him.He ran to a tree

and climbed up.

They were all safe.

The villages said to the

shepherd boy that

he had to scrub their feet

for a month for lying to them.

Introduction:

This is a report about NZ Giant Weta.

Diet:

The NZ giant weta likes to eat gorse flowers and invertebrates.

Physical Features:

The weta has spikes on its legs to defend itself from it’s enemies. Weta have been here for a long time. They were  even here when the dinosaurs were here.

Habitat:

Some giant weta live at the Mahoenui Reserve in

Waikato but most live in forests and trees.

Predators:

Weta are mainly scared of rats because the rats will eat

them.

Main threats:

Their main threats are fires because they can burn the wetas’ habitat.

Behaviour:

The giant weta are very gentle and non-aggressive.

Conclusion:

Weta are great insects and you should check them out.Giant weta are great to look at under a microscope.

Math Magician

Today I was on Math Magician and it is a learning game on Glenbrae School  and today I have achieved 100% in my divide by 3.I like this site because it helps me learn my maths.

Comparing unit fractions

Today I was on comparing unit fractions in nzmaths. You have to figure out has the most food with fractions e.g Manu had a small feed because he had 1/4 and kiri had 1/2 so that means manu had a small feed and kiri had a big feed and 1/2 is bigger than1/4. This is how I learn my fractions.It is on  nzmaths. I like this site because it teaches me lots of cool stuff.

In the weekends

On Sunday, I went to my mum's house. I haven't seen her for 3 weeks. Mum and I went on the train. I felt excited because it was my first time on a train. When we got off the train,we went to the shop to get an ice-cream, mine was chocolate and my mum's one was a rainbow ice-cream. That was a great ice cream.

Snow is around the South Island

Heavy snow has caused a huge disruption with the roads and schools.In the South Island snow has caused a  they huge problem that they closed the road.The airport has been hit by the weather.Heaps of schools in Christchurch ,Dunedin and also Queenstown.The weather has interrupted the travel  with the roads in South island closed this morning.

INTRODUCTION
The leather jacket is a type of fish that lives near
the rocky shore in the ocean. The leather jacket is the most distinctive fish [serving or tending to distinguish] because it has tough skin.

HABITAT
It lives inshore around near rock with sponges growing on them.

FOOD
It can eat almost anything in the sea.


MAORI NAME
The Maori name for Leather Jacket is Kokiri.

SPECIAL FEATURES
It can swim backwards and
forwards. It has a retractable spine[its spine can come in and out]



CONCLUSION
The Kokiri is a good fish to meet and if you catch one have a look for its tough skin.

Emperor Penguin
This Penguin was washed to New Zealand’s shore which is in Wellington.
People are taking sand and sticks out  of the penguin's stomach because  he thought it was ice.  Now the Penguin is in the Wellington Zoo.
